An app for communities on Whop
CommunityMind AI
An AI assistant that answers your members' questions in your community chat, from your own courses, forum posts and product details.
How it works
Add it to a product
Add CommunityMind AI to one of your products in Whop, the same way you add any other app.
Choose the chat and press Analyse
Open the app, give your assistant a name and choose the chat it answers in. Press Analyse and it reads your courses, forum posts and products. That takes about a minute.
Members ask it by name
A member starts a message with a backslash and the assistant's name — \edith, say — and it replies in the chat. By default it only answers when it is called that way, so it stays out of conversations between members.
What it answers from
Only what your community has published on Whop, and what you tell it about the community when you set it up. It does not search the web.
Courses
Your courses, chapter by chapter and lesson by lesson.
Forum posts
Posts in the community's forums — yours, your team's and members'. A member's post is treated as what a member said, never as the community's own word.
Products
What each product is, what it includes and what its plans cost.
It is told to name the course, chapter or post an answer came from, so a member can go and check. When your material does not cover a question, it says it does not know instead of guessing.
What it leaves to a person
Payouts, refunds, bans and complaints go to a person on your team. The assistant does not answer them. It notes who asked and in which chat, so it waits on your dashboard under “Needs a person” for someone to go and read, and it can notify the team member you choose.
- Whether a member's own submission was approved, or qualifies, is a decision for your team, so that goes to a person too.
- You can list topics of your own that it must never discuss.
- It answers in the chats you choose and nowhere else. Private support chats are off unless you turn them on.
- You can pause it from your dashboard at any time.
What it costs
Your first 100 replies are free. After that it is $29 a month for 200 replies.
The 100 free replies are counted, not timed, so they last until your members have used them. When they run out the assistant pauses and your dashboard offers the subscription. Subscribing is your choice; nothing is charged before you make it.
How to start
Add CommunityMind AI to your whop, then follow the three steps above. The free replies are there so you can see how it answers your own members before you decide anything.
